Parent volunteers are essential to organizing and chaperoning many sponsored events and other school activities. Parent volunteers offer a huge resource and support base for the school community. It also shows our kids the importance of participating in the larger community.

Dads on Deck

On Going

To be “On Deck” means to be available and ready for action. In past years, our D.O.Ds have participated in:

  • Campus beautification

  • Dressing up for the holidays and visiting students in their classrooms or lunch room

  • Monitored children’s activities during school wide meetings

  • Handiwork needs around the school

  • Moving heavy equipment and furniture at the school when needed

  • Building or repairing lockers, furniture, doors, walls, etc.

  • Participating in the Kindergarten High Five line on the 1st day of school​
